Thank heavens for the signs of Spring to cheer us and make us feel more hopeful. In our crisis-ridden world, we've never needed inspiration more, but as human beings we're hard-wired for crises, and we usually emerge stronger as a result. Out of the chaos we find ourselves in may be another and better way of living may emerge.

Autumn 08
And now the chill winds of autumn are accompanied by the even chillier winds of the world-wide financial crisis, a ‘black swan event’, which many people, smart financial whizz-kids included, never dreamt would happen, and which only goes to show how blind we all can be. Black swans were once believed to be an impossibility until they were discovered in the seventeenth century. Unpredictable events are actually more common than we would like to believe.
